Privacy Policy.
How Frontis handles information when you listen, record, and create.
1. Overview
Frontis is a music player, radio tuner, and audio creation application developed by OghamLab. Frontis does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
2. Music and local media
Frontis processes music playback on your device. Music files are not uploaded to OghamLab servers for playback or audio processing. Frontis may need access to music or media on your device to play files you select.
3. Microphone and podcast recordings
When you use recording features, Frontis may request permission to access your microphone. Microphone and podcast audio is processed entirely on your device and is not uploaded to OghamLab servers for processing. You can manage microphone permission in your device settings. If you export or share recordings through another app or service, that destination may handle the shared files under its own privacy practices.
4. AI audio and lyrics transcription
Frontis performs AI sound processing and real-time lyrics transcription entirely on your device. Audio used for these functions is not sent to external AI or transcription servers.
5. Internet radio and network connections
Internet radio requires connections to external streaming services. When you request a stream, the service or its network providers may receive connection information, such as your IP address and technical request details, to deliver the stream. These services operate independently of OghamLab. The providers and any other online features should be reviewed before this policy is finalized.
6. Advertising, analytics, and crash reporting
Frontis does not currently integrate Google AdMob, other advertising SDKs, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or other analytics or crash-reporting services. This description will be updated if those integrations change.
7. Accounts and support requests
No account or sign-in is required to use Frontis. If you contact OghamLab for support, you may voluntarily provide your email address and details of your request. This information is used to respond to your inquiry.
8. Local storage and user choices
Audio processing occurs locally. You can manage app permissions through your device settings and control any recordings you choose to export or share. Before publication, OghamLab will confirm how Frontis stores and deletes recordings, settings, and any other locally saved information.
9. Children's privacy
Frontis's intended audience and any applicable child-specific protections must be confirmed against its Google Play target-audience settings before this policy is published.
10. Policy updates
We may revise this policy as Frontis changes. When we publish updates, we will update the effective date shown on this page.
